Rene Russo Gets Cheeky

I received this email today about actress Rene Russo:
I was watching a movie featuring the actress Rene Russo, and I can’t figure out what’s up with her face. She has very prominent cheekbones and a very prominent chin, along with large lips. Oddly, though, her nose is rather small compared with the rest of her face, and the skin on her forehead seemed streached. I can’t figure out whether A. just has bad makeup, B. she’s had work done or C. she just has a naturally masculine face. What do you think?
Gentle reader, I think Rene looks pretty bad compared to what she used to look like. To me, it looks like she’s had some sort of cheek implant to make up for the fat that leave the face as a person ages. Her eyes also look skewed to a strange angle; hopefully they settle in soon! Overall, I think what ever plastic surgery procedures she may have had look comically bad, because they are not harmonious. Click here to see a good example of what looks like harmonious work.
Madonna is skeletor

One of the sad side effects of cheek implants is the chance that the patient will look scarily gaunt if weight is lost. I call this gaunt look ’skeletor’ (like the scary character from the 80s animated series).
Madonna looks sadly unfortunate after a tough week of having her media flacks cancel her brother’s book tour promoting his tell all missive about what she is like behind the scenes (fun stuff like, ‘her real taste would terrify you’). Her cheekbones jut forward scarily as if she is channeling the skeletor look (it wouldn’t be nice if we were to accuse her of having hideous cheek implants, would it?).

Steve Guttenberg was one of the most popular leading men of the 80s, starring in ‘Police Academy’, ‘Cocoon’, and several other popular film. Then, in the 90s, he vanished. He recently came back to the industry and oddly enough, appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars’. During his stint on that show, I received several emails asking,’What happened to his face?’ Well, judging from photos I can guess that he fell under the spell of a plastic surgeon’s nice only to garner poor results.
I think his face looks weirdly feminine. Why? It looks like he has cheek implants. When people age, their face does not become fuller as seems to be the case for Steve Guttenberg. The implants give his face a softness that is unbecoming for a man. I also think he had a face lift, because he looks like he is going through a wind tunnel. Also, another reason I think his face looks ‘off’ is that he had a chin implant. His face looks longer than it did in the 80s and he never had a very prominent chin back then. Finally, it is obvious that his teeth are different due to veneers.
Also, Steve started off in the entertainment industry with a different nose. His nostrils were originally larger.

Shaune Bagwell, the former wife of pro baseball player, Jeff Bagwell, looks like she spent some of her divorce settlement on hideously huge cheek implants. Gee, chipmunk cheeks aren’t exactly sexy. Cheek implants come in different sizes. If you decide to get them, discuss size and shape of the implants prior to surgery. After all, you don’t want to look worse after surgery.

Even Former Beauty Queens Are Insecure

Kelli Mc Carty was Miss USA in 1990. For the past decade, she’s been a struggling actress. Finally, two years ago, she joined the cast of the soap, ‘Passions’, on NBC and boy, did she look different. Her lips were plumped with lip collagen to Lisa Rinna proportions and she was also sporting some very noticable cheek implants. She’s a classic example of how people ruin their looks to ‘make it’ in Hollywood; her prior look was good enough for her to win a very coveted national title, but to make it past Tinseltown casting directors, she had to do this to her face. I don’t like her cheek implants at all because outside of studio lighting, you can easily see that she has them.
Notice the raised area on her face, that is the cheek implant:

Cher’s New Face

The first picture is Cher from the 60’s. Notice how her lips were thinner. Now, look at the other Cher photo. Sure she’s older, but the plastic surgery does not enhance her looks. There’s too much lip collagen in her lips and for some odd reason she tweaked her nose.
