Your comments are taken in srtide and no one is attacking you, so why the offense? You're an armchair jagwad. And you Anaisnun, with your weird name, calling others trolls? You are all getting a bit out of hand for me, like kindergartners. Wise counsel seems to be anathema on this site. Wow, Kelly the basket case calling someone else a basket case. A misogynist is correct about 75% of the time, a cynic, only about half. Also, I love the methodology of this site, "Hey guys, our last Brittany Murphy post was apparently too far into 'bullshit assholeland' even by our standards, the natives are restless. What should we do? I know, let's turn off comments on the next one" Seriously, stick to posting far fetched bullshit about how a particular actress has had work done just because she's got different makeup on. At least that shit is benign and doesn't give credence to that part of my brain that knows sites like this are part of a "fall of Rome" type situation. Of course it is very sad that Brittany, and many thousands of others, have died too young. Of course it is tragic than their deaths happen for no more meaningful reason than life was just too hard and painful for them for them to be able to deal with it in a healthy and balanced way. How damaged we are all, and life hurts. It's too tempting for many to overmedicate themsleves and/or try to live up to an unattainable female ideal of beauty, just to deal with each day. My friend that I cared for when she was a child died last year of a methadone overdose at the tender age of 24. I have also had a partner who was ravaged by addiction (methamphetamine), and he almost destroyed my life and my two daughters lives too in the process. That being said, I recognize opiate addiction and usage here for a subtle reason that others not familiar with the signs may not see. In all of these photos, even the ones in low lighting, Brittany's eyes are what is known in drug vernacular as "pinned up." If you look closely, her pupils are unnaturally tiny in each of these photos. It's a sure sign of being under a strong opiate influence. And no folks, it's not from the flashbulb! You can check many other celebrity photos and they have normal size pupils. In some cases, under the influence of "speedy" drugs (coke, meth) the pupils will be dilated. Rest in peace Brittany.. and for those of us left, let's be kind to one another. Life is too short and too brutal for anything else to make sense. Blessings to all. Her eyes had that vacant, hollow stare of a drug addict that I know all too well. I am not surprised that she died because I always thought that she was a serious drug addict. No matter how much makeup or styling she had, she still did not look healthy at all. I used to be involved in the drug scene, and to me this woman always looked like she was high on something. Seeing how tiny Brittany had become made me suspect she might have been withholding insulin ~that is, if she was insulin-dependent. This is incredibly dangerous, obviously. Diabetes and other endocrine disorders run through a side of my family, I was lucky to escape D, but have a different serious endocrine disease ~ I'm an armchair endocrinologist you might say. BTW if you're anything like most posters on the Internet (and the way you post means you are) you'll at least check back :) The woman is dead, but does that mean it doesn’t matter why she died? It is quite irrelevant at this point whether you are right or I am wrong, or vice versa. The woman is dead. FYI many physicians get hooked on pain meds with no medical justification. If you like to argue, go to law school. I'm outta here. You can have the last word, I won't check back to read it. Beating a dead horse (or actress, for that matter) gets really old.
