The space is usually improved/narrowed with implants but only by so much. If the surgeon tries to artificially place them too close to the center it can cause symmastia (uniboob), and the implants must be centered under your nipples or the nips will be off to the side. Sorry but I have implants and have to correct the misconceptions on here. I had widely spaced boobs both before and after. They are closer together now but still wider than most peoples'.
