Carrie Fisher looks like she had a facelift. But she forgot something important – the neck and the jowls! You should get those done if you get a facelift, because if you don’t, you’ll look like you ‘had a facelift’.

Next time get the neck lift too, Carrie!

…and why is she giving the finger?

Carrie Fisher is much more than a pretty face.

She has more talent in her thumbs than most gorgeous 21 year olds with perfect non-jowels.

Most people look much different at 50 years old than they did at 21 year old.

I’m Carrie’s age and have jowls too. And guess what – I didn’t have them when I was married 35 years ago either. We age. Its inevitable. Learn to live with what you have. Plastic surgery doesn’t make you younger, just poorer.

Leave Carrie alone. She looks great. No one can be expected to look like they did in their twenties. People expected her to look like Princess Leia for the rest of her life. She was 21 when she started that role!!!!

Comment by Louise Glass — November 19, 2009 at 7:56 am

I agree about Carrie Fishers talent. She is a very talented writer and actress. She is one of the true wits we have and I have always enjoyed her wry humor in movies and her books. BUT……when I saw her looking this way on television about two years ago I didn’t recognize her. Her mom Debby Reynolds look better in her 70’s than her daughter. I am wondering why did she age so badly? I don’t think she had work done. I ususally feel most of the celebs on this site have way too much surgery and look like plastic people. I think Carrie Fisher needs a really good and natural face lift.

I think she looks fine and looks her age which is really refreshing and wonderful. I like her jowls.

Comment by MG — November 19, 2009 at 8:33 am

She doesn’t look like she had any surgery to me. I think she looks just fine and I applaud her for not getting caught up in the plastic surgery madness. Kudos, Carrie.

I recently saw her show on B’way. She explains the appearance and weight gain in two ways:
1) Lots and lots and lots of drugs and alcohol in her youth
2) Side effects from the use of prescribed psychotropic drugs to manage her bi-polar disorder

Either way, she’s still a terrific lady. She seems quite satisfied with the 30+ years she had of looking HOT.

I think she looks great. It doesn’t look to me as if she’d had a facelift at all. I suppose, if she felt like she needed to do something, maybe the neck and jowls should be done, but if she’s happy now, good for her!

Comment by MissJanet — November 19, 2009 at 9:32 am

She looks all natural and GREAT! If there is a celebrity who looks normal, that ain’t right, too. How can anyone win in this?

Comment by Suzy0101 — November 19, 2009 at 9:59 am

I too think she looks fine. I know everyone would just love to look 25 for all their lives..but it’s just not the way nature goes. I wish so much that people could just accept the way they look and age gracefully. And when I look at these pics of Carrie, I think, geez, a lot could be accomplished on her face by just….being happy, and having a light in your face when you smile. Attitude has a lot to do with why people who DON’T have work done look…..better, in some ways. I mean, whenever you see a pic of Carrie, she’s usually frowning or scowling…and when you see a photo of her mom, Debbie Reynolds, she’s usually got this (probably fake, but still) smile on. It makes a huge difference.

If this is a facelift, it looks awesome and natural. I love how they posted this picutre with her flipping the camera guy off. It sorts of harks to the tune of all of blogging about how much we disagree with APS on this. So she is giving you the bird, APS.
Carrie Fisher scored on this one!

Comment by matilda — November 19, 2009 at 10:18 am

Carrie is awesome! She looks like she’s fifty and that’s okay. She’s smart and totally honest about her drug use and mental problems. Medications for bipolar disorder can cause huge weight gains.

Comment by animalover — November 19, 2009 at 10:48 am

I don’t think she looks like she had a facelift. Look at her forehead. Everything matches. She is aging! *gasp*

Comment by WarpedRecord — November 19, 2009 at 11:17 am

Wait, so you say she’s had plastic surgery, and you want her to get more?

Comment by Jennifer — November 19, 2009 at 11:39 am

I so wish the comments sections would just be removed. They’re flooded by people who clearly can’t stand the site, but keep coming back. Other popular sites (*cough* go fug yourself *cough*) don’t have comments, and they’re better for it. Then again, leaving the comments up does insure that the people who are acting like idiots are openly acting like idiots and you don’t have to deal with it in the inbox, right? *sigh*

Is she flipping us the bird?

Comment by Grimmer — November 19, 2009 at 12:56 pm

Since when did aging naturally become a crime? You would think Ms. Fisher had killed some homeless children. She looks great. She is great writer and a wonderful wit. She also looks like someone who would be fascinating to talk to and be around. Leave her alone. There are plenty of other narcissistic freaks to pick on.

Comment by Sarah — November 19, 2009 at 1:34 pm

Come on, putting up a picture of carrie when she was 21, compared to now? Just makes her look like she HASN’T had a face lift, women get heavier around the jawline as they age, I think she looks great, Isn’t there a Shauna Sand to pick on some where?

Comment by JaLL — November 19, 2009 at 2:56 pm

Carrie Fisher is awesome, jowls or no.

Comment by Jake — November 19, 2009 at 3:16 pm

Is Princess Leia flipping the camera off? Who would have guessed that she used to look so hot in a bikini. Is there any truth to the rumor that she is a closet lesbian? She looks very “butch”…I suppose her gravely voice does not help.

Then and now wasnt 20 in the first pic, happens to us all in the end

What?

I don’t get this website. Sometimes you say well done plastic surgery is horrible, sometimes you claim people have had plastic surgery when there’s no evidence of it, and now you’re complaining that Carrie Fisher hasn’t had enough plastic surgery? I just don’t get it. Are you saying that her facelift is awful because it didn’t totally hide that she’s aging? Usually you hate when a middle aged woman has childishly smooth skin. Are you saying that her natural neck sagginess warrants some Awful Plastic Surgery?

Personally I think she looks great, and even natural. She has no botox in her forehead and no fillers in her lips. Her face doesn’t seem tight. Her eyebrows aren’t at her hairline. You haven’t shown me any scars. Why do you think she’s had a face lift? Maybe her neck just sags more readily than her face.

i saw carrie on today recently, and was taken aback how heavy she had gotten. her face looked very disturbing. she evern sonded strange when she talked. it didnt occur to me she had plastic surgery, but that would explain it. carrie was trying so hard to be witty but you couldnt get past how freakish she looked .

Comment by sasha — November 19, 2009 at 6:57 pm

you guys never let up. she looks like she’s had a nose job ages ago. i do not agree that her surgeon would perform a face lift and have a brain fart midway thru and forget the rest. it looks like she needs a facelift, etc.

Comment by Frau Blucher — November 19, 2009 at 7:03 pm

I was surprised to see her recently, she’s really aged and put on weight in the past few years, but she’s so funny and interesting. SHe’s obviously had a tough time with all the booze and mental problems…and now she has people expecting her to look like Princess Leah forever. Her problem when she was growing up was that she had this beautiful mother and felt like a dud…that’s gotta be tough.

Lifestyle Lift(R) is the answer. A couple grand and a couple hours and you’re a new you.

Comment by Bella — November 20, 2009 at 1:05 am

Sure doesn’t look like she’s had much work done, if any. Looks like natural aging and a woman that had gained weight with age and has not bothered with all the nipping and tucking and starvation diets demanded by Hollywood. .She appears her age, which would include a saggy neck, jowls, forehead wrinkles and all. No one stays young forever.

The average fifty-something women in American looks just about like Carrie if she hasn’t had the money or the inclination to have a face lift or all the other Madonna-ish stuff done to her face, neck, lips, bust and succumbed to some sort of and eating disorder or fanatical exercise regime to stay unnaturally thin.

We sure live in a schizophrenia society where our celebrities must look ageless and forever stick thin yet we criticize then for over indulgence in surgeries and other methods that attempt to keep them eternally youthful looking. On the other hand when we do see a celebrity age naturally, such as Carrie Fischer, she’s met with horror and scorn.

Comment by GratuitousViolets — November 20, 2009 at 6:12 am

If she’d had her jowls done you’d be posting this and saying how badly it was done and how obvious it was. I find it funny she’s being chastised for NOT having gone further? I think she looks good regardless of jowls.

Remember when this site was about, you know, awful plastic surgery and not pointing out every little flaw on every actor?
