Wow, that’s a damn shame! I will say that I’ve seen several interviews with him where he talks candidly about plastic surgery…He’s actually very likeable in my opinion. I don’t understand why he wants to look the way he does but it’s very important to him to look the way he does according to him. It’s kind of sad, but if he’s really happy looking that way, then who am I to criticize? I just can’t imagine though…

Why do you continue to use the term “lip collagen”? for what is obviously not collagen? Collagen is not long lasting and no one even uses it anymore except for temporary enhancement such as a photoshoot. It’s likely silicone or somehting along those lines.

Pete Burns is an oddity…dresses like a woman, keeps his male name, keeps his male parts…it’s very baffling at the best of times. But sometimes he’s seemed like a very nice person even though slightly diva-ish at other times.

His plastic surgery is too extreme though and has ruined what used to be a very normal human being.

I’ve seen very early photos of Pete Burns and in the beginning, I’d say that plastic surgery improved his looks. He used to have bad teeth, which he had veneered, and a large, angular nose which he had sculpted back in the Eighties. For my tastes, Pete hit his peak of androgynous gorgeousness in the early Nineties.

Then the surgeries continued but not for any good reason, including the infamously ill-advised lip injections and more work to make the nose even smaller, etc. Whoever installed these horrific cheek implants needs his or her license revoked, if the “doctor” even has a license in the first place.

There are obviously some psychiatric issues, he’s admitted as much. As for his sexuality, he was married to a woman for a long time and was faithful to her. SHE wanted the divorce, not him. He has a history of sexual abuse as well. It is disturbing what he has done to himself. No ethical plastic surgeon would do this to someone. This is probably one reason why his wife left him.
