What is up with the sunken cheeks? I have noticed this trend in a lot of hollywood stars in the 30s. Are they just getting older? Or did they purposely do this to themselves?

When are women going to wise up about cheek implants? They make her face look lumpy and actually seem to add wrinkles around her mouth and chin. They don’t look good on anybody!

I think she looks pretty good! Everything looks fairly natural. Her lips aren’t horrible, they just look fake, like anyone’s fake boobs.i think she belongs on Good Plastic Surgery moreso than here.

@ Goldie – no, I think it’s because they get cheek implants, and their placement can make the area under the eyes look very hollow, especially if they have lost facial fat. If you look at the shape of her face, you can see it has been transformed with implants. She has clearly had more than just her lips done.

she was very beautiful and stil looks fine to me, but she would look much better without the cheek implants and the plumped up lips. I really, really hate those cheek implants. They make people look like chip munks and give them a haunted look.

I doubt cheek implants, just a weight loss that makes her facial muscles and bones more pronounced, and the inflated lips more grotesque. Please, please stop!

Thank you so much for posting this! In fact, I was going to request it some time ago. I always thought Monet was quite beautiful from the first time I saw her a few yeras ago, so imagine my complete SHOCK when I saw her overinflated lips in a magazine spread staight out of the Nikki Cox school of trot pout recently! And it’s unfortunate too because she is so naturally striking. Why do they do this to themselves? She’d better he careful or she’ll have a Couteney Cox joker mouth before she knows it!

I am sorry, but you don’t get cheek bones when you age, you lose them. That’s why women have them in the first place. And you really don’t change that much from 20 to 33, not even when you lose weight! Come on, be realistic.

I think the shape of he natural lips is what gave her face a fresh, young look. They had a natural bow shape. She took that one defining feature and altered her entire face. It is such a shame. I am also not a fan of cheek implants. They change the planes of the face too much.

she’s a good friend of mine. she has only had her lips done and nasolabial injections. she has a great derm, and she regrets the lips. no cheek implants at ALL!

Why oh why? She was pretty before, now shes got that frozen Anne Heche/Gwyneth Paltrow appearance. In the last photo she looks more natural, but sooooo much older (harder = older) although in that photo she bares a resemblance to Margot Kidder, whos probably twice her age.
