Wow. He is looking good. This is a much better look for him and I agree it is much softer and he has benefited from this corrective surgery. Kudos to his plastic surgeon.

In my book, he was never attractive and never will be…regardless of what he does to his face. He does not look quite as freakish as he had a little while back though.

Comment by bdfw — April 1, 2009 at 9:09 am

He is looking MUCH better! Aw.

Comment by Sarah — April 1, 2009 at 10:12 am

He’s looking much better. That facelift he had was crazy! You go, Mickey!

Comment by Suzanne — April 1, 2009 at 10:20 am

He looks better but he is still freaky. it’s that bizarro hairline.

Comment by Karen — April 1, 2009 at 11:05 am

He looks good here!

Comment by Nuria — April 1, 2009 at 11:10 am

He does look less harsh. I think it’s a vast improvement.

Comment by Cook — April 1, 2009 at 2:14 pm

These photos must be reversed. The after photo is actually before his terrible face lift. The before is how he looks now….NOT GOOD!!!

Comment by Mamasita — April 1, 2009 at 2:56 pm

well he looks better… but man, if he isn’t a plastic surgery cautionary tale…

Comment by Tamiko — April 1, 2009 at 3:42 pm

Seems like a weird guy, inside and out.

Comment by Kathy — April 1, 2009 at 8:51 pm

Wow. He actually looks a little more human.

Comment by sue hansen — April 2, 2009 at 4:19 am

does this guy ever wash his hair? I have yet to see it washed and styled nicely for all the years someone finds him attractive or photogenic he makes me gag just at the site of him.
I feel like taking my fingernails and scraping the dirt off of him…bleah…

Comment by spayneuterlady — April 2, 2009 at 8:48 am

I think his last disastrous plastic surgery is just loosening up. He admitted he looked bad – said that he had the surgery to repair all the boxing damage and that the surgeon botched it.
I don’t care what he looks like – he rescues chihuahuas and is very anti-puppy mill. He’s a hero in my book.

Comment by Renee — April 2, 2009 at 9:37 am

can we get some WAY before photos of him from before he started screwing up his face?

Comment by CK — April 2, 2009 at 9:43 am

He still looks awful. He’s almost unrecognizable for those who became acquainted with him in his 1980s films.

Comment by darian zam — April 2, 2009 at 5:07 pm

He’s had the chin implant removed, big difference. Why do people in Hollywood think that your face is something you just rearrange and redecorate at whim like a house?

1. Wash that dirty, greasy hair!
2. Get a haircut.
3. Less foundation (at least he shades a little, which is better than most chalk-faced weather announcers), or at least spritz after powdering.

look how cute he used to be!

Comment by Laura — April 3, 2009 at 10:04 am

I feel kinda bad that I made a mean comment about his appearance now that Spayneuterlady pointed out that he rescues animals and is anti-puppy mill. Those are noble causes and I support them wholeheartedly!!

Comment by Darvulia — April 3, 2009 at 7:30 pm

Well, at least he looks better this time, not worse

Comment by jimettainkentucky — April 4, 2009 at 7:38 am

He looks much better than before. I am glad to see that he is in the public eye again. Hopefully he will get the roles he deserves after such long down time. Good Luck Mickey, still loving you in Ky.

Comment by m.e. — April 4, 2009 at 12:45 pm

Yeah but didn’t he get his face busted in a lot from boxing? i just love him anyway.

Comment by Janis — April 4, 2009 at 3:27 pm

I agree with you both, Laura and Spayneuterlady, those are noble causes! I guess I feel sad for him spending money and going through the risk and pain of surgery to look so much worse. Even with the tweaks, he looks so much worse than if he had never had the surgery. I think this is a 2007 police shot of him when he got arrested and I believe it’s pre-plastic surgery, and drunk, disheveled and dirty, he still looks way bettah than post-surgery.

Good pic Molly from those “Rumble Fish” days. He just got soooo weird after “Wild Orchid.” Obviously he was an ex smoker and I think he and Carrie probably did drugs (she admitted to her drug use, anyway) and that just does a number on your face. So he started getting this weird plastic surgery and it just didn’t work out so well. I agree with sue hansen about the hair issue…it always looks bad… but I don’t know about the boxing excuse..lots of boxers look okay after they quit fighting. He just wanted to recapture his youth and he got a bad surgeon. Plus he looks “roided” out to me also. Kind of lumpy.

He’s looking pretty damn good now! What a change!

Comment by Ani — April 5, 2009 at 11:40 pm

He is still cool, but CK is right, he was so hot back in the day!

Comment by Shelly — April 6, 2009 at 2:42 am

Ok how can none of you not know why he looked so damn bad?
Besides his boxing trashing his face, he was a professional.
He was in a horrible car accident.
The original surgery’s were to fix that damage
So he looks pretty damn good compared to the damage he was left with from the car accident

Comment by I konow — April 9, 2009 at 8:22 am

He looks good now.

Comment by Mark — April 10, 2009 at 7:11 pm

It’s a miracle compared to what he looked like just after that terrible face-lift!
He looks very good now.

Comment by TM — April 16, 2009 at 1:54 pm

He definitely looks better now. You rock Mickey!!!

Comment by Tonya — April 18, 2009 at 8:29 pm

Comment by Midnyte88 — April 21, 2009 at 1:12 pm

I love Mickey!! He doesn’t get enough credit. Yes, he messed up his face, but he’s starting to look better now. Whoever did this new work did a great job!

Comment by Roberta — May 5, 2009 at 10:08 am

GO Mickey! We love ‘ya!

Comment by jane tennison — May 7, 2009 at 9:51 am

Renee – Watch “Body Heat” or “Diner” to see him as his once-beautiful self.

Comment by Adam — May 12, 2009 at 8:06 am

FYI Shelly — he has said himself in a couple of interviews that he had surgery due to his brief boxing career. His nose and cheek had been damaged and a doctor did the nose, cheeks and a facelift; which turned out with results he was not expecting or desired. He was not in a car accident. I do feel for him because he got bad advice; however this is why you check out your doctor before getting drastic work done and don’t just take their word for it.

Comment by Tumi — July 18, 2009 at 3:05 pm

WOW. At last one that turned out positive.
