She is one of my favorite characters. Who else would pack an entire wardrobe of evening gowns for a 3 hour tour? Tina Louise pulled it off magnificently. I think she could still do it even today : – )

Give her to me for an hour and I’d make her look fabulous. The hair and make-up are all wrong; she’d look pretty good with the correct colors and style. No need to be mean about it folks.

I met her a few months back and her personality is more nasty than she looks. She was at an event that just had a few dozen of us…family and friends of a writer…and she was friends with the writer. When picture time came, she began to take a picture with the writer and thus, the writer’s motther and a few other family members came up to take this picture and she almost flipped out. She is a very nasty lady. Here these were friends and family of her supposed friend and she treated them like they were trash. She seriously thinks that she is still a superstar. Its sad, because we all wanted to like her….our faces lit up when we heard she would be there….obviously having no idea what a nasty person she was. I will never watch Gilligan’s Island in the same light again. And now after that experience, I found alot of information on the net, including a movie made in 2001 in which the rest of the cast of Gilligan’s Island confirmed that she was a mega witch. Oh well…I wish people could just not take themselves so seriously. Sad.
