Cheri Oteri wins the ‘Worst Plastic Surgery Ever For An Ex-SNL Cast Member’ award. Her face looks like a Halloween mask that has been stretched. The pretty alert eyes she was known for are still there, but the area around them is basically unrecognizeable. It looks like she has had some sort of eye work to fix problems in that area. Her nose also looks smaller. It does look like she has had a facelift because her skin looks stretched a super shiny.

Hi, I love your website. It’s very additive. I am always disappointed when you go for several days with no new postings. I always agree with your comments 99% of the time. But, with Cheri I don’t get what you’re seeing. I don’t see the shiny face (from being pulled too tight) and I think just the lighting may be different in the second photo. I do, however notice a pointier chin. Like an implant or something. This is the first time I’ve “weighed in” with an opinion.
Keep those photos coming!!!!!!!!!

I think all I see is a chin implant. Looks pointier. Otherwise I think it’s just different lighting in the second photo.
Keep the photos coming!!!!!!

She might not have a chin implant. It could just be her face loosing fat as she gets older…as that tends to happen to women.

Comment by SB123 — January 18, 2009 at 10:20 am

Normally, we agree, but this time I’m just not seeing it. Looks like she’s lost weight – maybe 5-7 lbs….and changed her makeup colors to accompany her change in hair color. But stretched skin? No. Shiny skin? No. And I’ve seen A LOT of facelifts – (Check out NM in Fashion Island Newport Beach at noonish on Fridays).

I agree with the chin implant and the nose job observations though.

If you want to see a good view of how horrible her plastic surgery is watch her Curb Your Enthusiasm episode Nanny From Hell. She is almost unrecognizable and indeed looks like she is wearing a halloween mask it is very scary and sad.

I also love this site–it’s what they call a “guilty pleasure”. Some jobs are definitely obvious and not good. Here I think Cheri looks pretty. The collegen lips ALWAYS look bad, why these women don’t see that, I can not understand and the breast jobs that are way obvious, never look good either–but the women must think so, because every pic you’ll see them with low cut shirts, showing them off–it is so played.

PS-If I had the money and it was time, I’d go to whoever Barbara Walters goes to. she looks great.

Comment by carrie — January 18, 2009 at 5:20 pm

What about Lorraine Newman? She is unrecognizable from when she was on SNL in the 70s.

Comment by gia — January 18, 2009 at 5:57 pm

Yes, it definitely looks like an unnecessary chin implant…maybe some cheekbone implants are stretching the face or just super heavy botox. Her nose was kind of cute before, so I dont know why she would even touch it.

Comment by Teri — January 18, 2009 at 7:03 pm

I don’t see it either. She looks good. And I, too, am disappointed that with all the pickings to choose from, from NY to Hollywood, days can pass with no new postings!!! Get on it, you guys! There are so many plastic surgery disasters out there to report!

I was watching the movie “Park” with Cheri Oteri released in 2006. I did not even recognize her. I said to my husband I thought Cheri Oteri was supposed to be in this movie and he said that is her. Honestly, she looked nothing like herself. I didn’t even know it was her. I said what a shame; she just looked like another person entirely. I felt bad for her and thought she can’t be happy with it. Maybe she had corrective work or something done since. If not then the picture on the right is just a better picture of her post ps. Rent the movie “Park” and you will see.

Comment by Claire — January 18, 2009 at 8:04 pm

Did you see “Bree” on desperate housewives. Her lips were awful!

Comment by Stella — January 18, 2009 at 8:11 pm

I stand corrected…Park was released in 2007. After looking at pictures of her on the web her eyes look different again since the movie. I dont’ know why I am so intriqued by ps and this web site. It is just that even if I had all the money in the world would I do it? Would I let someone cut me, slice me and splice me back together if it wasn’t to save my life.

Sometimes when you try to have something fixed you could make it worse. Certainly if you had the resources for surgery wouldn’t you spend a considerable amount of time checking out your board certified plastic surgeon’s credentials and looking at pictures of his prior work and maybe even get feedback from others about the doctor. I mean what in the world? I guess it is their face and body to do what they like but someone has to sit across from them when they are eating lunch. Sorry, I don’t mean to banter on. I’m just sayin……Ouch!

I haven’t seen any other photos of her recently, so I may just be unaware of what she looks like today, but I don’t really see what you’re talking about in this photo. Yes, probably a chin implant and can’t tell if she did anything to her nose, but she looks to me like she’s showing normal signs of aging- her skin looks older and coarser, she’s lost some youthful plumpness in her face, her brows have dropped normally, there are some complicated shadows around her eyes that obscure whatever is really going on there but it looks like usual gravity and lines, and the lighting is harsh and different than the older picture. Mainly, I’m seeing a hair color job, not a bunch of bad surgery- perhaps you could have picked another picture.

Comment by Niki — January 19, 2009 at 12:15 am

I agree that it looks like she’s had a chin implant, and possibly altered her nose as well. And Barbara–ditto about Barbara Walters. She will be 80 in September! That’s crazy. It’d be great for her to be featured on goodplasticsurgery.com, with a timeline of photos.

Comment by WarpedRecord — January 19, 2009 at 12:26 am

I can’t tell from the photo here because of the shadow and all the hair in her face. But she definitely looks different in this photo, in which her face is mighty tight:

In other news, I didn’t realize that her boyfriend was arrested for killing her father last year!

Comment by WarpedRecord — January 19, 2009 at 12:29 am

And here’s an even more blatant example. Her eyes look too far apart and her nose just looks strange:

She used to be so gorgeous, but I guess that wasn’t enough for her.

Comment by scm — January 19, 2009 at 7:12 am

I dont agree with alot of the postings here but its still a fun website. I know for a fact that you can just end up looking different as the years go by without having anything done at all! Stress, time, daily routines, sun and genes, are just a few reasons why we can either end up looking better or worse than our real age.

Comment by Suzy — January 19, 2009 at 11:15 am

Hey…I love this site. And I think you’re off by a mile in this case. I think she looks great! I don’t see the “Halloween Mask” thing at all. Seriously, you’re (to use kind of a pun) really stretching it here. LOL.

Comment by Mikae — January 19, 2009 at 12:18 pm

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2789378560/nm0652783

I think the picture of her from January 13th is a way better example, you guys should look there, as she doesn’t look that different in the picture of her with red hair.

Comment by Katie — January 19, 2009 at 12:49 pm

I have to agree with the other posters. I’m not seeing it. Maybe minor work but I think she looks pretty good!

Comment by Bob G. — January 19, 2009 at 11:11 pm

Cheri looks good to me. Not bad at all. There are a lot worse out there. I recently saw a distant shot of Olivia Newton-John. You may want to do some research on her.

Comment by Madeline — January 20, 2009 at 4:16 pm

She does have a long chin that sticks out. She must hate getting shot from above like in the 2nd pic instead of straight on like the 1st. I just saw pics of her from 2000 taken at The Replacements premier and omg her chin was sooo big way back then too! They must not have been very good at chin jobs back then.

Comment by Art Chic — January 26, 2009 at 6:09 am

I think they’re so drugged egotiiscal and insecure that it’s easy to buy into the plastic surgery craze. H’wood folk use plastic
surgery the way we ‘normal’ people drink slim-fast.

Cheri looks horrible, poor heifer!!

Comment by M. Gale — February 11, 2009 at 7:19 pm

I think her nose is more pointy in the second picture. The space between her mouth and chin is longer so I think there is a chin implant. Ditto for the cheek implants. I think she looked better before the surgery.

Comment by cellardoor — February 20, 2009 at 7:19 pm

I think she looks good, just totally different. I vaguely remember having a receding chin, so maybe that’s why she got the implant. In the photo of her from the article about her father’s death, she looks super young … but totally different.

Comment by Vince — March 31, 2009 at 4:16 pm

Quite frankly, I think she looks better….she was kind of goofy looking to begin with.

Comment by Ali — May 2, 2009 at 11:49 am

I don’t think she looks bad at all. What I don’t understand about those who critisize plastic surgery, is when they talk about how pretty actresses “used” to look. It is extremely unfair to compare a pretty actress’s plastic surgery look now, with how she ‘used’ to look 10-20 years ago. Hello, everyone ages and without surgery, most actors/actresses would not look like they did in their hey day, they’d just look old. Surgery keeps them looking a little *better* than they would if age just took its course, but it can’t make them look 28 years old. That should just be common sense.

Comment by Jazz — June 7, 2009 at 1:16 pm

Bad plastic surgery? I’m not seeing it at all, bad or good. I think she looks damn good.

Comment by leigh — October 10, 2009 at 6:08 pm

I agree with the others… she looks different that her original photo, but isn’t that the point?? I think she looks very good!! She looks prettier and younger. I agree that there are many people who have BAD plastic surgery and look scary. I don’t agree with the worst surgery posting as she just looks better. I wish I knew who her plastic surgeon was? At least he/she didn’t make her look like a freak. She looks cute!!
