Over the past few months, many television viewers and pop culture followers have been puzzled by the strange appearance of actress Lara Flynn Boyle. Earlier this year, she appeared on long running drama, Law and Order, and viewers were startled by the change in her appearance; primarily her inflated lips scared them. The phrase trout pout was included in numerous emails sent to this site, asking that she be featured. Your wish, is my command.

Further investigation uncovered this photo.

In my opinion, it seems that there is in implant in her upper lip and it is overly large. It does not flatter her face (perhaps it does in her mind). Lip implants are a hit and miss sort of plastic surgery. The majority of them I have seen look awful and generally result in trout pout.

If it weren’t for that hideous over inflated top lip, she’d actually look really pretty. But it spoils the whole look. Sad. When are those women going to wake up? You’d think they’d learn from seeing one another.

That looks horrendous, like her lip is infected and inflamed. It has no shape and is disproportionate to the lower lip. What a deluded idiot she is to think this looks good. Its hard to see from this pic but I also believe she’s had a lot of juvaderm injected into the rest of her face as well, its noticeably fuller.

She looked so pretty in MIB 2. Her face was quite lovely, but now she’s gone from playing an alien in a movie to looking like one in real life.

At least she’s not anorexic anymore. I wonder why close friends and family don’t tell these actresses how awful they look. When she was with Jack Nicholson on and off for a few years, she was anorexic and he didn’t seem to mind. I find that really weird. Is anyone staying “normal”? I saw Mia Farrow on tv and she had the plumped lips, all the collagen,etc. Another actress who creeps me out is Barbara Hershey. She is about 60, and is so botoxed, plumped, filled, she is smooother than a babies behind. She USED to be beautiful. Watch them both in Hannah and her Sisters.

We’re accustomed to seeing her trout-pout. What is shocking about her new appearance is her HORRIBLE cheek implants. They’ve made her unrecognizable, especially in “live action” shots.

yeah, i thought she might be ill and on meds as well- her face is SO BLOATED….at first i thought she had gained a significant amount of weight, but if you watch the epsiode, the change in her body is negligible. odd.

She has had way more than that done & has the bloated face of a heavy drinker or bulimic…She used to be so incredibly pretty! Why not just keep getting lip collagen which seems to work well if not overdone, rather than obnoxious lip implants?

Lip implants can work if they are inserted correctly. They should follow the natural lip line. Two implants should be inserted and stop short of the cupids bow. That helps with aged lips that have receded. They can acheive a very natural look, more so than botox. Lara is a very insecure woman who goes to extremes with her appearance. I hope she can get the help she needs.

She has cheek implants that are too large as well…She used to be a natural beauty, now much less of one. Her fake lips look horribly irritated & chapped to all hell as well.
