The Horrors of Celebrity Plastic Surgery

Lose Weight: Liquid Hoodia | Alli Fat Blocker | Caralluma | Acai Berries

previous post: Joan Rivers..she was not always scarier than a Halloween mask -- next post: What if Jocelyn Wildenstein reversed her plastic surgery?

This is a nice video slideshow of celebrities who seemingly have undergone plastic surgery. There is a gory photo of Michael Douglas included where you can see dried blood on one side of his face near his ear (many were suspicious that he’d had a face lift after seeing that photo).

Also, included are Al Pacino and Burt Reynolds. There are before and after photos of Al where his nose changes in size.

yep, it’s know as “aging”. No one likes it, and we ALL do what we can to slow it down. I don’t think it’s so “crazy” if you would like to continue to look good.

Who is the she yu are referring too? there are a ton of actors in this video. I am sure most of them have had something done and some images are obviously of people who have had lots of surgery with before and after pics or just after pics that are obvious. Here is the deal with this video I believe with the song that is used to accompany the images its more about how fake hollywood beauty is weathe rit be makup and lighting or surgery. In some photos you simply see how normal looking these people are without all lights makeup and primping. Its all illusion people!! we see more beautiful people walking down the street then we see on the silver screen. We are simly conditioned to believe the makeup and lighting. I love this video mostly for its candid shots of people like Charlize Theron without her makeup on or hair done. I always think she is gorgeous when I see her in a live interview or commercial and im sure she is pleasant to look at in person but she is normal pretty without the hollywood magic. HD is going to make it hell for these folks. In the meantime can we talk about the huge cheekbone implant trend ala heather and madonna> WTF are they all nuts? I saw madonna in an interview and she looked like a robot with crazy big cheekbones!!

It is honorable to look your best. But what shocks me is NOT that these wealthy celebrities had surgery, but they went to mediocre surgeons for the most part. Why? Why did they not do their homework and go to one of the gifted few who can do anything and not make it look like surgery had been performed? One of these greats is Dr. Thomas Mustoe, Northwestern Medical Center, Chicago.

Getting Old is not for sissy’s. I think Bette Davis said that.
Ugh! I dont blame them for trying to keep the youthful look.
As for pics without makeup. .. anyone no matter how gorgeous
can still take a bad picture. The thing I really hate is when you
see glamour shots, and people think Oh! they really look like that!
Especially (sorry guys) Men! Without lighting and makeup, and
photoshopping they are ordinary at best.

It doesn’t really work — it’s a fantasy.

The stars sometimes “look good after surgery” because they hire the best make-up artists and stylists, their hair is done beautifully, etc. It takes like 4 hours to be dressed for the red carpet. But when they wake up in the morning, without makeup, it’s just another cheap facelift. Most surgery looks pretty bad. The whole thing is a scam.

I can’t wait to grow old naturally actually I am now. You can still be youthful even if you don’t have the features to back it up.

The problem with a lot of these pics is that they are of “retouched” photos with candid photos. Nobody looks like the photos in the magazine so when you compare those to the “real” pics of course they look horrid. There isn’t an airbrush artist who walks next to somebody all day spraying away all the imperfections. Celebs look just like the rest of us, they just “clean up” better and are more talented (that is said loosely in some cases).

By no means am I saying the surgery photos are good, most plastic surgery ends up looking like somebody melted flesh colored wax on them, but yeah we should compare apples to apples…
